The Friends of St Mary’s Church Wreay Annual Event 2025.
This year the Friends are celebrating the art of Thomas Bushby. Bushby (1861-1918) was a prominent local artist who was an illustrator at Hudson Scott & Sons (Metal Box) and painted watercolours of local scenes around Upperby, Brisco and Wreay. His work captures country life just before the 1st World War brought about so much change.
