A concert by The Wordsworth Singers
The acclaimed Cumbrian chamber choir, directed by Andy McTaggart, will be giving a late afternoon concert at Holme Cultram Abbey, Abbeytown at 4pm.

Wakening the Earth features unaccompanied singing with music from as early as 12th century Hildegard of Bingen to music composed in the last couple of years and celebrating hope, creation and the glories of the natural world. The programme includes the magical Northern Lights by Ola Gjeilo as well as works by Aaron Copland and James MacMillan.
