The Beggar’s is a lovely, intimate space to play. Our Audience is fantastic. They love the opportunity to see amazing acts visit us from small-scale rural touring to TV Stand Ups. Our audience comes from miles away to enjoy theatre, comedy, live music, family shows and cinema at our fabulous venue.

The Beggar’s Theatre
The Beggar’s Theatre brings top-name comedians, musicians, theatre and film as well as local community events, charity events and workshops to a rural area and provides high-end entertainment and culture on the southwest coast of Cumbria. An intimate venue of 245 capacity where acts return again and again for the personal welcome and wonderful audiences.
Our opening times are: Tuesday – Friday 10am – 6pm and Saturday 10am – 2pm.
Local Area
Millom is found on the north shore of the estuary of the River Duddon in southernmost Cumbria, situated just outside the Lake District National Park between Barrow-in-Furness and Whitehaven.
